Description
On the morning of May 23, 1939, a state-of-the-art U.S. Navy’s submarine, the USS Squalus, was doing a routine test dive when something went terribly wrong. Really enjoyed these episodes. Presenter is top notch, audio quality is fabulous and actually "placed" me at the scene, which thankfully I wasn't. Really makes you aware of the dangers submariners of that time faced, and also the divers involved in the rescue
PUTS THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE! I HAVE THE NERVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HAVING TO GET UP TO EARLY. I'M LOWER MIDDLE CLASS & I LIVE IN THE MOST EXPENSIVE CITY IN THE U.S.-SAN FRANCISCO. I BET AFTER I PAY MY BILLS I JAVE MORE LEFT OVER IN A MONTH FOR ANYTHING I WON'T THEN MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS STORY HAVE EVER SEEN. I'VE GOT IT TUFF, MAKES A GUY REALLY THINK ABOUT THINGS!
